Core Projects
The research carried out by the UK-J partners focusses on various aspects of endocrine disruption, ranging from assessments of the effects of treatment processes on the endocrine activity in wastewaters, quantifying the potency of the various chemicals contained in wastwater discharges, defining the mechanisms of action of the endocrine disrupting chemicals of concern, and ecological impacts on wildlife. The research is divided into 4 core projects:

Core 1 - Fate of Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals and Emerging Contaminants in the Environment and their Remediation.
Core 2 - Advancing Testing Systems.
Core 3 - Molecular and Genomic Approaches in Fish.
Core 4 - Environmental Risk Assessment & Population Impacts.
